Don't Wait Until 10th Standard
If your 14-year-old is still constructing sentences that sound immature, or speaking more like a second grader, it is time to look seriously into their vocabulary.
Many parents believe SAT preparations can start with a quick boot camp in Standard 10. The truth? It is a process. How can a student truly master 8,000 vocabulary words in just a three-month crash course? Waiting until the 6th or 7th standard to undo ingrained grammatical errors is practically impossible. That is why I encourage students to start learning as early as Grade 2.
3,600 Power-Packed Seconds
I do not spoon-feed my children. I teach them the skills to learn. My curriculum is a carefully crafted blend of the IGCSE and ICSE ways of learning.
Empathy First: If a child cannot share their problems with their teacher, it’s a shame. Empathy is my primary quality.
Stern Yet Fun: Children do not fear me; they love me. We make writing essays fun!
Zero Wasted Time: I see my children for one hour a week. But that is not just an hour—it is 3,600 power-packed seconds. Every moment is meaningful.
No Excuses: Grammar is not rocket science ("just write the words like you breathe"). I expect dedication, and I am one of the few educators who strictly enforces makeup sessions.
The Parent Partnership
A parent must complement my teachings with their own assistance at home. My children are constantly seeking my assistance in their social, emotional, and educational needs—I am their mom for that hour when they are with me. But true transformation requires a partnership between the mentor, the student, and the parents.
